Needless to say the children slept soundly last night, they were all exhausted!!
This morning they have been busy exploring the woods and building hides in teams.
The coach will be leaving Aylmerton at 1pm so children should be back at school around 2.30pm, I will text you updated times of arrival once the journey is underway.
The children have been utterly amazing and the staff at Aylmerton were exceptionally complimentary about the children's behaviour, relationships, team work and attitudes.
They thought the Barnham staff were pretty amazing too!!!
Here's some pictures from breakfast this morning!
What an absolutely amazing day - we could have been in the carribean! We have been walking across very squelchy, muddy marshes, hunting for cockles, walking through the shallows, finding semi-precious stones and a real highlight a boat trip to see the seals!!
It has been a scorcher of a day - the children have all been amazing, regularly applying sun cream and drinking lots - the sea breeze really helped us!!
It was a delicious BBQ outside for tea - just perfect for this weather! The children are now, as I type, gathered around the campfire hearing captivating tales from a storyteller! Tonight's pictures below (daytime pictures on a different device - apologies)
Everyone slept like a log last night!! We were all up early and ready for our two course breakfast this morning. We are leaving at 10am to travel to Blakney, there will be plenty of reapplying sun cream throughout the day!
Smiles all round from children and adults :)
Well they have all arrived safely and have enjoyed a sunny afternoon.
After the afternoon activity they have all enjoyed the opportunity to cool down with hose pipes, buckets and a little water play!!
The wi-fi at Aylmerton is intermittent I will try and update as and when I can tomorrow.
Photo to follow soon!!!
