Our next Art unit is Textiles and Collage. We are experimenting using a variety of techniques to improve different paper, creating a non-realistic adhesive image and using all of our skills to create a final piece.

We will be looking at the artist Wassily Kandinsky and his inspiring artworks.  We will build on our knowledge of primary colours, practise mixing secondary colours and develop control when painting.

Autumn 1

 

We will be looking at the artist and illustrator Beth Krommes. We will be exploring mark making using different resources and working towards creating our own piece inspired by her work.
