Relationships, Sex and Health Education Policy and Curriculum Parental Consultation

As you may already be aware, the Department for Education has introduced changes to relationships and sex education following nationwide consultation. The statutory guidance can be found at https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/relationships-education-relationships-andsex-education-rse-and-health-education

Relationships and Sex Education (RSE), along with Health Education will be statutory and form part of the National Curriculum.

We have reviewed our RSE curriculum and policy and wish to thank you for your feedback during the consultation process, as parents of our school, your views are especially important to us.

We must say how impressed we are with the pupils responses to the new RSE curriculum, the quality of discussions and the depth of their questions have been truly amazing.

We will continue to send you an overview of the content covered for your child's year group, along with a short survey each year. These will be sent to you via Parentmail.
