Did you know it’s Shrove Tuesday (Pancake day) next week? Can you draw your own pancake and favourite toppings onto the plate?

Can you think of other celebrations when you eat special foods? Can you write or draw your ideas on the sheet? Maybe you have photos of these special events that you could chat about instead if you don't fancy drawing or writing.

It is also ok if your child just wants to talk about their favourite foods and traditions for these special occasions, the activity is more about them understanding the world around them and special traditions.
