Otters were victorious in the first round of the Aviva Sportshall Primary athletics competition today hosted by Thurston CC. Otters came out on top over 24 track and field events, finishing first or second in all but one of the track races, and heading straight in to the next round (date and location to be confirmed). Not only was I blown away by the performance of the class, I was also incredibly proud of their attitude and team-work: they are each and all a credit to themselves, their families and our school. Mrs Nicholas and I were beaming from ear to ear throughout the event. Very, very well done!
