Year 6 Sportshall Athletics Competition
Year 6 Sportshall Athletics
Year 6 travelled to Thurston Community College to take part in the U11's Sportshall Athletics competition.
They took part in both track and field events and the whole morning was a real team effort.
We came 1st in both the girls and boys 2 x1 sprint relay and 2nd in many other track events. I was also told by the organiser of the competition that he was blown away with the skills he saw from Barnham in the field events.
All the pupils put in 100% effort and determination and their sportsmanship was outstanding.
Overall we can an amazing 2nd place! That's a silver medal!
All the pupils should be so proud of what they achieved
