Assemblies

The children are taking charge of Tuesday assemblies. They will be working in small groups to create an assembly an deliver it on a Tuesday. This will be a wonderful opportunity for the children to develop team work and public speaking skills, whilst thinking about school values.

The dates in GREEN have been signed up for. If your child and a friend would like to sign up, please email me with their topic.

Tuesday 1st of December- 'being greener'.

Tuesday 8th December- Hope.

Tuesday 15th December- What does Christmas mean to Christians?

Tuesday 26th January-

What and how they deliver the assembly is up to them. I would like them to start and finish with our assembly opening (Jesus said 'I am the vine and you are the branches, those who abide in me and I in them will bear much fruit.') and include a prayer.

They can write a story or poem, show pictures or explain the meanings.

I'm so excited to see what they will come up with. I know they will be amazing!
