  • Watch Miss Sutton’s video – A present.

  • At last we’ve caught the gingerbread man! – he said that he wants to give someone from the story a present to say sorry for running away – what should the present be? Who should he give it to?
  • Talk with your teddy or someone next to you – who do you think he should give a present to? the cow? the cat? the fox?
  • What should the present be?
  • Why should he give it to them?
  • After chatting about the above questions, draw a picture of the present.
  • Then write to explain who it is for and why. First say your sentence, then segment the sounds to record the words.
