Baking and snack ideas!

Choose some of your favourite recipes to make.

Or, make a creative concoction of what is left in the house on a Friday after the children have eaten every possible snack throughout the week!


You could talk about whether the snacks are healthy or unhealthy, the importance of a balanced diet and why we need to exercise!


But most of all, enjoy your Friday together!




  1. Ask your child to help you prepare lunch or dinner - get them to count out the right number of carrots or fish fingers. Can they help peel the vegetables and cut up the food?
  2. Ask your child to lay the table - encourage them to count out the correct number of plates and cutlery.
  3. Ask your child to create a menu for lunchtime and collect everybody's orders.
