What an amazing day we had on Thursday!! Our best lockdown day so far...
Our fabulous staff transformed themselves into Easter Bunnies (and delivery drivers!) and collected their eggs and delivery route from school, in safe click and collect slots! Next they set off to your homes to drop an Easter egg on your doorstep.
What an amazing boost it has been to see each and everyone of you! We are so so proud of you - my goodness you have all grown!
Keep smiling, reading and being fabulous!
On Monday, our school choir performed for the first time at Thetford Garden Centre to win a Christmas tree!
They sung their repertoire of songs so beautifully for their audience that they were awarded a tree at the end!

On Monday 11th November, our Year 5 and 6 children represented the school at a Remembrance Service at St. Gregory's Church, Barnham.
Pupils read the names of 22 soldiers from Barnham who never returned home from war; 19 in World War One and 3 in World War Two.
At 11am we stood in silence for two minutes to remember those who gave their lives.
Revd. Sue Nutt told stories about some of their lives, including where in Barnham they lived, how many brothers and sisters they had and who they married, along with where they served.
After Mrs Arnold read The Beautitudes we read out the poem 'The Talk' By John McCrae, May 1915 and joined in with prayers, including the The Lord's Prayer.
Our service ended with the laying of a wreath and singing 'God save the Queen'.
When you go home tell them of us and say, for your tomorrow we gave our today.
On Sunday 6th October, Barnham Primary was invited to the annual Schools Cathedral Service in Bury St Edmunds. Children were asked to take part in the service where they had the chance to speak with Dean Joe about our school’s vision:
Jesus said, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you abide in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.”
The children waved our new school banner and sang with many other schools in surrounding villages and towns. We were all very proud of the way they represented our school J
On a blustery and cloudy spring day in March, Barnham travelled back thousands of years to the ‘Stone Age’. With a magical array of props and stories Will Lords team complete a historical picture and teach a multitude of skills needed to survive during this period of time.
As the day unfolded each class were introduced to Stig and Mema (Caveman and Woman) and at first sight they seemed a little scary to the children, however they soon overcome their fears once they were introduced to this rare experience of the historical world.
The day was split in to two different sections: Stone age to Iron age (KS2) and Storytelling (KS1), the children learnt a lot in a very engaging and interesting way.
During the stone age section we were taught that most of the animal could be used ,for example: teeth for tools, bones for stitching and guts to make fish nets.
