Child and Family Support Practitioner 

 

30 hours per week

4 days per week 7.5 hours per day

39 weeks per year

Grade 3 £25,979 - £27,334

 

We are looking for a special person to join our warm and supportive team and work together with our amazing children and their families.

  • make onward referrals and applications for further support, advice and resources, bespoke for each child and/or their family.

If you have:

 

  • a warm, caring personality
  • a relevant qualification / experience in social work, counselling, child development or a related field
  • experience of trauma informed approaches such as Thrive / Elsa or other interventions

  • excellent organisational and communication skills, including time-management and ability to prioritise workload
  • the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, staff and wider external partners

Teaching Assistant / HLTA 

 

Teaching Assistant Salary: £23,114 - £23,893 pro rata

HLTA Salary: £27,803 pro rata

 

Part Time

35 hours per week

8.30am – 3.30pm Monday - Friday

38 weeks per year

Required from September 2024 or as close as possible

 

Our supportive and friendly school are looking for an enthusiastic learning support assistant, experienced in early years education, to inspire, cherish and believe in our pupils, parents and staff. There will be opportunities to work as a HLTA for a proportion of the hours and receive an uplift on your salary for those hours.

 

If you:

  • have recent experience of working with EYFS and/or KS1 children
  • hold HLTA status or have equivalent experience (desirable)
  • have English and Maths skills to a minimum of GCSE Grade C
  • show patience, kindness and understanding of children’s unique needs
  • thrive on seeing children become independent amazing learners
  • are confident and competent in building relationships with pupils, parents and staff
  • have excellent team working skills and a positive approach to all aspects of your work
  • have a clear understanding of the early years developmental milestones, along with the ability to plan for preparation, delivery and evaluation of learning experiences to enhance children’s holistic development – then we would love to hear from you!
