‘Take the snake around the lake (whoop) take the snake around the lake’
As we arrived back into the classroom, there was a knight standing on our table… he thought it was his castle! He told us the story of when he was challenged to find the ‘kiss that missed!’
Then he showed us how to make the digraph (when two letters make one sound) using the princess’ lipstick! We then practised on shields in our books. It was quite tricky joining the two letters together but we persevered and kept practising!
After that, we wrote the words kiss and miss before the knight dashed off on his horse!
