Monday 16th March 2020

Attached below are my teaching slides and tasks for Literacy and Maths. The learning objective for Literacy is based on reading comprehension and the learning objective for Math is focused on finding the area of parallelograms. 

For reading, I have taken pictures of the text and uploaded them; however, you will need to zoom in to read them. Tomorrow, I will use the photocopier to scan the book and then uploaded better copies. :)

Below is the home learning for Tuesday 17th March. Literacy is reading comprehension; Maths is place value focusing on ordering and comparing numbers; science is reading comprehension based on Charlie Darwin and his theory on evolution; and SPaG is work based on using semicolons to separate clauses. 

Wednesday 18th March 2020

Below is the home learning for Wednesday 18th March. Literacy is reading comprehension; Maths is place value focusing on negative numbers; and SPaG is work based on identifying nouns and verbs.

Thursday 19th March 2020

Below is the home learning for Thursday 19th March. Literacy is reading comprehension; Maths is measurement focusing on volume; and SPaG is work based on identifying subjects and objects.

Friday 20th March 2020

I am aware that I have set a vast amount of work for the children to get through; could I ask that you use this day to complete anything you haven't finished. 

As of next week, I will still be uploading PowerPoints to the website, but I will also be converting these PowerPoints to google drive slides so that I can assign these on google classroom. Hopefully, this will help people who only have Microsoft or Android.
