o-e
o-e o-e bone in your arm
Around the octopus' mouth, across his mouth and around the shell
Today, we had a visit from a Nurse with a full size skeleton to learn the split digraph o-e.
We started by listening to the song 'This old man'...we listened out for all of the o-e words e.g. bone, home.
Then, we practised pinching the sounds in words with the o-e split digraph in them and recorded them on bones!
After that, we read real and beegu o-e words and sorted them into two piles, before applying the words to sentences.
