m
Name : m Sound: m (make sure not to say muh)
Action: Hold your hands as if you are holding a sandwich and moving it closer to your mouth
Writing rhyme: mmmm mmm munch munch
To warm up our phonics brains, we played 'Grab a giggling grapheme' on Phonics play: https://www.phonicsplay.co.uk/resources/phase/2/grab-a-giggling-grapheme
Select: s-a-t-p
After watching the phonics fairy, we practised writing the grapheme 'm' with marmite or marmalade on toast! It was very sticky but mmmm delicious!
After that, we used the sounds that we have learnt already to caption the pictures.
For example, mat / man / map
Then we put the words into verbal and written sentences!
I wonder if you could do this at home too?
