Foxes

Have a wonderful summer! Why not have a go at the reading challenges below. Miss Cross would be very impressed if you could do them by September.

Summer Term

We will be continuing with PE on Tuesdays and guitar lessons on Fridays this term (so don't forget to come to school in PE kit on Tuesdays and remember to bring your guitar to class on Thursdays please).

At home, please keep practising your tables at home (TTRockstars and Mathsframe Tables Checker are recommended) learn how to tell the time using digital and analogue clocks and please keep recording your reading on GoRead!

Mr Holman, Mrs Richardson and Mrs Bradbury (who will be joining us on Tuesday afternoons for French and PSHE and also to support our learning on Wednesdays) are looking forward to another great term. We are also delighted to have Miss Clark completing her final teaching placement with us.  She joins us from the University of Cambridge Faculty of Education.

A fascinating visit to an archaeological dig led by Rob from the British Museum

Sports Day - well done Foxes for finishing in 2nd place overall!

Half-Term Home Learning

Please keep practising your multiplication tables by using TTRocksrats and the Mathsframe Multiplication Checker. I have also added the links to some of the tables songs we have enjoyed singing along to in class.

We will continue our work in maths on telling the time and solving problems involving analogue and digital clocks.  The game below on Mathsframe is very useful.

Enjoy taking the time to read for pleasure (and don't forget to log what you have been reading on the GoRead! App. (Well done Martha for being the star reader this half-term!) Practise the guitar - the links to some of our favourite songs can be found on the 'stream' page of our Google classroom site. For a look ahead at what we will be learning the rest of this term, please see the curriculum news below.
