Week 11- 22.6.2020

Happy Monday!!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I certainly had a lovely one.

This week's work is going to look a little different. I am planning on a Monday so is easier if I upload the work then. I have sectioned it into days to tie in with what we are doing at school.

I have loved hearing from you all, despite my emails being a little slower. I will get back to you as soon as possible. Please don't hesitate to ring school if you wish to speak to me about anything.

Hope you are all well.

THE HUMAN BONES SONG

Wednesday 24th June

On Wednesday mornings we go to Forest Schools! Use this as a great excuse to get outside yourself. Show me what you find, maybe it will inspire some writing or some art. Can you count how many bugs or trees or daisies you spot? Spend time running around the garden or going on a family walk. I can't wait to see what you get up to. smiley

In Art we are focusing on Vincent Van Gogh and his famous paintings, such as his sunflowers and his starry night. We are looking at his brush techniques and ways of creating an almost 3D element to his work. Research his techniques and his art work and have a go at creating your own art inspired by him.

We have taken our own pictures of nature and will be mirroring his techniques when we paint our photos.

I can't wait to see what you create. smiley
