Squirrels

Welcome Back!

I hope you have had a fun-filled summer holiday and are feeling refreshed and raring to begin Year 5.  There are lots of exciting learning opportunities to look forward to and Mrs Evans and I are especially keen to start this term's topic work on the First World War.  Mrs Dowds is looking forward to reuniting with the class to teach Science and RE, metal arithmetic and guided reading every Friday.

This term we will have PE every Monday so don't forget your kit!  If you wear earrings it would help to leave them at home when we have PE.  This term we will also be having a Forest School session each week led by Mrs Truman and I.  (Details have been forwarded by parent mail).

Homework will be set on Thursdays and will be collected in on Tuesdays.

If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to ask.

Very best wishes,

Mr Holman
