i-e i-e ugly five
Slide incy wincy down the drain and flick him back to the top. Across his mouth and around the shell.
i and e used to sit together but they chatted soooo much, we had to split them apart and put another sound in the middle. We did this by drawing the graphemes i and e on a post-it notes and then ripping them in half to separate them to make a split digraph.
After that, we practised applying the split digraphs to our spelling.
