‘Slide incy wincy down the drain and flick him onto the dot’.

We enjoyed sharing the story of incy wincy with the phonics fairy.

We practised the action and sound ‘i, i, incy wincy’.

Then, we spotted that Incy had left spiders all over the classroom!

We quickly collected the spiders whilst reading the sounds that were on them.

Then, we practised forming the letter i for Incy wincy on the back of the spiders.

After that we made delicious incy spider biscuits.

We counted how many legs they had and then practised forming the letter i in icing.
