Writing rhyme: Around the caterpillars mouth, whoop, down to his pants and over his tummy
ch ch ch chicken!
The phonics fairy had left us a note today, leading us to the chicken coup!
When we arrived there, you wouldn't believe it....
there were eggs and pictures of chickens with 'ch' words on them!
We read them with our friends, then headed back to the classroom with the book
'Chicken Licken' that we found where the chickens were nesting!
After enjoying the book, we practised writing the diagraph 'ch',
reading it in real and beegu words and applying it to our writing!
