‘Go around his grumpy face then under his tummy’
We were just tiptoe-ing into the library to read our new book sent by the phonics fairy
‘Gruff the Grump’ when we spotted a bear!
Gruff the bear was in the library looking very grumpy!
Gruff the bear was in the library looking very grumpy!
We read his story together and realised why he was grumpy – his cave was looking a mess and needed brightening up.
After our story we quickly made our way back to the classroom and made some decorations for gruff that were covered in ‘g’.
Then we played in groups – some of us played ‘g’ bingo and others played snap whilst blending and reading the real and nonsense words on the bears.
