ll is a digraph (when two letters make one sound)
Action: Stretch your arms as if you are tired
Writing rhyme: Down the leaf and flick it away

After practising writing the letter 'l' on leaves, we then wrote our own 'l' words.
We chatted about how 'l' is normally found at the beginning or in the middle of words. Whereas, the digraph 'll' is normally found at the end of words e.g. pull / smell/ bell.
