As part of our work with the 'Breaking New Ground' project, children from Year 2 and Year 4 visited Barnham Cross Common to explore and investigate the plant life.
After a short bus ride, the children were introduced to the different plant species that thrive living in The Brecks. Using a key card to help them children set off to explore and look for different plants. Describing the plants via an interview process helped the children to identify the species.
Off course, no trip outdoors is complete without an opportunity to hunt for insects and study their features up close!
